Climate change hysteria started in 1975 when it was global cooling, then came global warming in 1989, then "Climate Change."

It's logical though.

We're in an ice age. This interglacial, the Holocene, this
pause between two glacial periods ("ice ages") is overdue
to end. It was already overdue to end when Rome was still
on it's first Emperor!

The planet had also been in a decades-long cold spell by
the mid 70s. So it was entirely logical to wonder if they
were seeing the overdue end of the Holocene and the
beginnings of the newest glacial period.

It wasn't.

It's been a very, Very long time -- back when there was
still science in "Climate" studies -- but I did learn,
way back when, that it was only a short time, like 70
years, to go what looked like a warming trend to "Ice
Age," the last time it happened.

Climate is SCARY! And it is BIG and it is POWERFUL and
it is beyond hubris to think that your flight to Disney
is going to alter the course of the planet...

The FAKE comes from them saying that the cold waters
have "Finally Arrived." We're looking at FOUR OUT OF
FIVE of the past years having COLDER THAN NORMAL
ocean temperatures... how is that "Finally Arriving?"

Fake. Downplaying the cold.

If you're a believer in AGW then you probably don't know
but, a La Nina means COLDER THAN NORMAL ocean water
temperatures. Which means... wait for it... MONTHS OF
MEDIA STORIES CLAIMING RECORD HOT OCEAN TEMPERATURES!

FOUR OUT OF THE LAST FIVE YEARS ARE LA NINA YEARS!

They do it every time. Whenever there's a La Nina, when
the ocean waters are unusually cold, they "Report" high
temperatures.

Anyway, we had THREE YEARS IN A ROW of La Nina conditions,
then they claimed a single year of El Nino (warm waters)
and now we're right back into La Nina...

NOTE: It's totally possible to be neither. It's not an
Either/Or situation. Waters do NOT and are NOT only ever
ABOVE or BELOW normal. most often they're just normal.

2020-2023 was a period of La Ninas.

2023-2024 is reported as an El Nino year.

We are right now reportedly in a La Nina.
