'Morning Joe' hosts tear into NYT, other liberal media for caring about Hunter Biden pardon: 'Hysterically imbalanced'

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski desperately tried to defend
President Biden’s decision to pardon his son Hunter — even accusing
mainstream liberal media of being “hysterically imbalanced” in giving so
much coverage to the commander-in-chief’s shocking about-face.

The lefty “Morning Joe” anchors slammed mainstream media for going into
overkill in deriding Biden’s sudden reversal on his promise not to let his
son walk free after the president announced a “full and unconditional”
pardon for Hunter on Sunday, calling their criticisms “completely out of
step with reality.”

“You know, the New York Times, like, the top six stories online today were
all about the pardon,” Scarborough said of coverage of the case that has
also outraged many Democrats.

“You looked at the Washington Post yesterday, you expected, like, ‘WAR IS
OVER’ in massive headlines,” he added in his condemnation of the two
liberal broadsheets.

“I don’t remember headlines this large when Donald Trump commuted the
sentence of Roger Stone,” he continued, ignoring the historic nature of
Biden giving such an all-encompassing pardon to his own son, including
protection from potential future charges.

Scarborough claimed that Democrats are frustrated over the news coverage,
which “they believe is really out of proportion given everything Donald
Trump has done in the past and what he’s doing right now.”

Brzezinski added that “if you even parallel pardons that Trump has done
himself, it’s just always so — it seems so hysterically imbalanced!”

“When you read how they’re covering this and then you look at the things
that are happening on the other side, it is, again, completely out of step
with reality,” she claimed bafflingly.

The troubled younger Biden, 54, was convicted in September on federal gun
charges, and on federal tax evasion charges earlier this year. The
sweeping pardon additionally clears him of any illegal conduct over the
course of the last decade.

His father, 82, claimed he was taking the action after he watched Hunter
being “selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted” by the Department of Justice
— a complete shift from his repeated public pledge not to pardon his son.

The outgoing commander-in-chief argued Hunter “was singled out only
because he is my son — and that is wrong.”

Special counsel David Weiss on Monday dismissed President Biden’s claims
that his son was targeted and argued the judge overseeing Hunter’s case
shouldn’t dismiss the indictment against the first son despite the
president’s pardon.

seem to quickly spit out a quick sentence or question. Stammer stammer stammer.

All too many interviewers are the same. Just ask the question, we don't need
your background to the question, nor does the interviewee need it, let 'em
